Refunds can only be processed within 15 days of subscription, purchased from AVG Customer Support.Refund is not applicable when user lies in the given conditions:-
Incidents Plans: Users will not be refunded any amount they have paid once the problem is resolved. If any issues remain un-resolved from our side user may always write to us on email@example.com before the expiry date mentioned in his preferred plan. No refund requests will be entertained once the mentioned date passes away.
Monthly Assistance plans, Annual Assistance plans and 6 month Assistance plans: If AVG Customer Support resolves one or more issues, and the user mentions it in the feedback email, the charges for the Setup will not be refundable in such case. Not with standing this AVG Customer Support may at its sole discretion and on a case to case basis, agree to a refund of Assistance Plan charges after deducting Setup Fee and cost of paid Antivirus.
Products: User agrees that AVG Customer Support is not liable for any refunds once the software/antivirus has been delivered on to customers end through email, and has been installed over the user’s laptop/PC.
Change of Mind: No refunds are possible for the change in mind, relating to incident Assistance Plans.
All refund requests should be dropped in written to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once user replies to our payment authorization mail with “I authorize AVG Customer Support” in their email reply, user is bound with our refund policy.
Users will be only eligible for the refund when they meet all the following criteria (for all incident based plans), as discussed below:
• The problem is out of reach from the specific plan
• Users have all the pre-requisites which were required to resolve the issue and problem was not resolved till the time account was active
• Before 48 hrs after the resolution of the issue and a confirmation from the user after the issue was last worked upon by AVG Customer Support.
• The refund will be processed only after getting a written request by the user on the email ID email@example.com along with the reason for refund.
* In no case, the amount of refund/claim shall exceed the amount subscribed or paid by the user to AVG Customer Support.
In connection with obtaining Services, users agree that they will:
Co-operate with AVG Customer Support: We will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide the Assistance to users. AVG Customer Support .experience shows that most problems can be solved as a result of close cooperation between customers and AVG Customer Support. Please listen carefully to the AVG Customer Support and follow the instructions provided. Users must confirm that the following conditions are true:
• One CPU with its workstations and other peripherals
• Users must have knowledge regarding the hardware system, any software involved
• The full system, including software and hardware, is available and accessible to users without limit during any telephone discussions with AVG Customer Support.
Software/Data Backup: Users understand and agree that AVG Customer Support shall under no circumstance be responsible for any lost or corrupted software or data AVG Customer Support strongly recommends that users at all times maintain a complete data backup and disaster recovery plan.
Once Sold Product get installed and activated on user`s PC then it can`t be returned back under any circumstances.
Account, Password, and Security: For users to submit a Plan Order, they must complete the Registration Process by providing AVG Customer Support with current, complete and accurate information required under the applicable Registration Form. They also will choose a username and password.
Use genuine and valid Hardware and Software and also proper working phone line with sufficient power back up.
Furthermore, users are solely and entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under their account. Users agree to notify AVG Customer Support immediately of any unauthorized use of their account or any other breach of security.
However, users could be held liable for losses incurred by AVG Customer Support or its affiliates or another party due to someone else using their account or password. Users should not use anyone else’s account at any time, without the permission of the genuine account holder.
Users are solely responsible for maintaining and backing up all information, data, text or other materials i.e. User Data and software’s stored on their computer and storage media before ordering the services. Users acknowledge and agree that AVG Customer Support or its referral partners have no responsibility or liability under any circumstance at any time for any loss or corruption of customer data, software or hardware; that may arise out of the services.
