Terms & Conditions

Here under mentioned terms and conditions state important requirements regarding customer’s use of www.avgcustomersupport.co.uk website. User should read the terms and conditions carefully as they contain important instructions and information. If customer accepts these terms and conditions, it will apply to www.avgcustomersupport.co.uk website. User must agree to the terms and conditions in order to be eligible to use the AVG Customer Support or obtaining its services.

Submission of Plan Orders, Service Plans

Users may order services by submitting Plan Orders through the www.avgcustomersupport.co.uk or by calling 0800-090-3826. Once AVG Customer Support accepts the Plan Order submitted by the user, then they will receive an email from support@avgcustomersupport.co.uk at the email address that user provide or have provided to AVG Customer Support as part of the Registration Process for the Services. AVG Customer Support is not responsible for removing Services in connection with any Plan Order that it has not accepted. Upon acceptance by AVG Customer Support of a Plan Order, Customer will have a Service Plan.


Services against any Plan Order will be available once user has made payment for the Services according to the requirements of the corresponding Plan Order. All payments against the plan orders will be collected by AVG Customer Support. The company has no obligation to render Services under any Service Plan if the payments as required under any Plan Order have not been made.

User shall be charged an additional non-refundable Activation Fee at the time of registration, as specified in the Plan Order. The fee including the Activation Fee is not refunded in case of cancellation of the Service Plan unless otherwise stated in the Plan Order. All fee under this clause or a relevant Plan, is payable at the time of commencement of the Service Plan.

Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet banking and IVR Billing

User may be asked to provide us with a Credit Card, Debit Card and internet banking details from a card issuer that we accept in order to activate Customer Service. The user hereby authorizes AVG Customer Support to charge and/or place a hold on user’s Credit Card, Debit Card and internet banking details with respect to any unpaid charges for Services or any related equipment. User authorizes the issuer of the Credit Card, Debit Card and internet banking to pay any amounts described herein without requiring a signed receipt.

Renewal Policy

User agrees and acknowledges that the Subscription under the Recurring Payment Plan will be automatically renewed for a month, unless notified by the user (“Auto Renewal”). However, a Subscription under the Annual Payment Plan do not automatically get renew and expires at the end of the applicable Term Plan.

If the user would like to opt out of the Auto Renewal, please call us at 0800-090-3826. at least 15 days prior to Customer subscription end date and speak with to our customer service representative.

Refund Policy

For subscription based plans, full refund will be issued if AVG Customer Support has not been able to resolve even a single issue for you within the first 10 days of the subscription.

If there is one or more solved issues, the fees for the Subscription Service will not be refunded. Notwithstanding this AVG Customer Support may, at its sole discretion and on a case by case basis, agree to a refund of Subscription fees after deducting charges for servicing the user.

Fair Usage Policy, Suspension or Termination of Subscription

Under this policy, if at any time, in AVG Customer Support sole discretion, a subscription based plan user is found to be abusing the service by exceeding the level of use reasonably expected from someone using a Subscription based Plan for individual use then AVG Customer Support reserves the right to suspend or terminate Subscriber’s Subscription Services.

Communication Services

AVG Customer Support may provide user with the e-mail services, addresses, bulletin board services, forums, communities, personal web pages, instant messaging services, chat areas, news groups, calendars, file cabinets and/or other message or communication facilities designed to enable user to communicate with AVG Customer Support employees and others as appropriate to Customer Service under a Plan Order.


User may not create hyperlinks to any portion of the AVG Customer Support nor any materials or software posted therein.

General License Restrictions

Any other use of the AVG Customer Support Portal, Services, Materials or Software, other than as explicitly permitted by AVG Customer Support is prohibited. Rights to execute, transmit, distribute, manufacture, copy, modify, display, use, sale are all reserved to AVG Customer Support and its suppliers

User Responsibility

In connection with obtaining Services, user agrees that user will:

• Cooperate with the AVG Customer Support. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide the Assistance to user. Please listen carefully and follow the instructions. User must confirm that the following conditions are true:
• User understands and agrees that AVG Customer Support shall under no circumstance be responsible for any lost or corrupted software or data AVG Customer Support strongly recommends user all times to maintain a complete data backup and disaster recovery plan.
• For user to submit a Plan Order, user must complete the Registration Process by providing us with current, complete and accurate information as prompted by and required under the applicable Registration Form. User will choose a username and password.

Availability of Services and Materials under Majeure Circumstances

User hereby acknowledge that circumstances outside of AVG Customer Support reasonable control like acts of God, a large scale outbreak of a new computer virus, other military action, civil disorder, strikes, riots, wars, acts of terrorism, fires, floods, vandalism, sabotage, acts of third parties, may cause significant delays in AVG Customer Support ability to schedule a Assistance session.

In order to perform maintenance activities and to maintain session control AVG Customer Support or its suppliers may, at any time, without any notice or liability restrict the use of the Services or limit its time of availability.

Exclusion from “Services”

“Services” shall not include the following:

Any item or activity is not covered by the terms of a Plan Order, service beyond the duration limitations identified in Customer Plan Order, problem diagnosis and Assistance that may not be completed because of a problem with user’s computer or other equipment, failure to follow the product instructions provided by or failure to perform preventive maintenance, or problems caused by using any accessories, parts or components which is not compatible with the product.

End User License Agreements (EULA) - Generally

In connection with our Service, we may provide to user, the use of certain software which is owned by AVG Customer Support or its third party licensors, and suppliers. We as well as the third party licensors reserve the right to update or change the Software from time to time and user agree to cooperate in performing these steps which may be necessary to install any updates or upgrades to the Software.

The Software may be accompanied by an EULA from AVG Customer Support or a third party. User’s use of the Software is governed by the terms of that license agreement and by this Agreement, where applicable.

Third-party Products

As part of the Services, AVG Customer Support may suggest that user acquire, install and use certain third-party software or services. Third Party Software is licensed to user by the respective owners or licensees of the Third Party Software. Customer must agree to the terms and conditions set forth by such owners or licensees before installing Third Party Software, whether AVG Customer Support assists user in the acquisition, installation, and/or use of Third Party Software.

User’s license to the AVG Customer Support shall remain in full force and effect unless and until terminated by AVG Customer Support, its third party licensors, providers or suppliers, or until Customer Service Plan is terminated as provided by the User Plan Order and these Terms and Conditions.

Third Party Agreements

As part of the Services AVG Customer Support may suggest certain third party services to user. If user choose to subscribe to or otherwise use any third party services, user use of any such services is subject to the terms of service of such third party service provider.

Limited Service Warranty

AVG Customer Support disclaims all warranties express or implied as to the services, the software and the materials whether in the nature of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, or otherwise. In the event that customer is not satisfied with the services, customer sole remedy is to (a) allow AVG Customer Support to re-perform the services subject to dispute, (b) re-download and reinstall the software.

AVG Customer Support and/or its respective suppliers make no representations about the suitability of the information contained in the services, software or the material for any purpose whatsoever. All software and materials are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind whatsoever.

The materials can include typographical errors or computer inaccuracies. Changes are periodically added to the information herein AVG Customer Support and/or its respective suppliers may make improvements or changes in the materials or the software described herein at any time.

Limitation of Liability

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in no event shall AVG Customer Support be liable to user in excess of the amounts actually paid by user to AVG Customer Support under the Plan Order that is the subject of the dispute.

Limitations on Actions

Any cause of action by user must be commenced within one (1) year after the cause of action arose or it shall be forever waived and barred.

Term and Termination

AVG Customer Support at its sole election may terminate or suspend user Service immediately without notice if, in the sole discretion of AVG Customer Support: (a) Users are in breach of any of the Terms and Conditions or any license for Third Party Software; (b) Users use of the Service is prohibited by law or is disruptive to, adversely impacts or causes a malfunction to the Service, AVG Customer Support network, or the use and enjoyment of AVG Customer Support other users; (c) AVG Customer Support receives an order from a court to terminate the Service user is availing ; (d) if AVG Customer Support for any reason ceases to offer the Service; (e) if user is no longer a AVG Customer Support customer, or (f) AVG Customer Support determines that user is abusing the Service.

No Offer

The AVG Customer Support portal is available internationally and may contain references to AVG Customer Support products, services, and programs that are not available in a viewer’s country. These references do not imply that AVG Customer Support intends to make such products, services, or programs available in such country.


AVG Customer Support reserves the right to amend the Terms and Condition, and the AVG Customer Support portal at any time by (a) posting a revised version of the Terms and Conditions on the AVG Customer Support portal (http://www.avgcustomersupport.co.uk), or by (b) sending information regarding any amendment to the Terms of Service to the email address of user provided to AVG Customer Support in connection with registration. Users are responsible for regularly reviewing the www.avgcustomersupport.co.uk website to be notified of any amendments to the Terms and Conditions.

Law and Jurisdiction

United States Law governs these terms and conditions and Users agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the United States courts.
